Scholarships

Government Scholarships

Students are eligible for a large number of scholarships, fee concessions, and other aids. Arrangements exist to enable students to avail themselves of the following scholarship, fee concessions, and aids.

Following State and Central Government scholarships are available to eligible students.

A. State Government Scholarships and Aids

  1. Backward Class Scholarship.

  2. Free Education to the First Generation graduates belonging Backward Class.

  3. Most Backward Class Scholarship

  4. Scholarships to the children of school Teachers

  5. Scholarships to the children of Political suffers.

  6. Merit Scholarship

  7. National Loan Scholarship

  8. In addition, students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Adi Dravidar Christians are eligible for the concession under 92 T.N.E.R. irrespective of the income of the parents.

B. Central Government Scholarships and Aids

  • Government of India Scholarship.
  • Physically Handicapped Scholarship.

In addition to these, arrangements are also made by the College to secure financial assistant to the deserving students provided by social and other organizations.

  • Grant of Scholarship for the students is subject to progress in studies, regularity in attendance, and proper conduct.
    The application form for the scholarship should be submitted to the College office on the prescribed dates. Application after this date will not be accepted under any circumstance.
  • Endowment Fund For Meritorious Students
  • Madaikar Foundation has created an Endowment from the Academic Year 2010-2011, and it will be known as "Moulana Molvi Alhaj Meddakar Mohammed Casim Sahib Memorial Rolling Trophy". This Rolling Trophy will be for the intuition of the winner students with a cash award of Rs.1000, and Rs.500 to the First Prize winner and the Runner respectively. This trophy will be awarded to the student excelling in Islamic Oratorical Competition. This competition will be conducted at the Inter-Collegiate Level.
  • Dr. M. Damodharan Memorial Endowment Fund (2006) for the Best Meritorious Student of Mathematics Department (B.Sc., Maths).
  • Thiru. G. Viswanathan VIT University Chancellor Endowment Fund (2007) for the best overall meritorious student of the College.
