About us

The Ambur Muslim Educational Society was founded and established with an inherent determination to rejuvenate the community by providing modern technical education to the new generation. The collaborative efforts of the like-minded philanthropists of the town, renowned for their simplicity and selflessness, took up the noble cause of uplifting and upgrading the young generation of the society for securing their future.

The altruistic purposefulness led to the gradual establishment of educational institutions to cater to the demands and needs of the community.  Thus, among seven educational institutions, Mazharul Uloom College was established as a Pre-University college in 1969. In 1971, it progressed into a degree college ascertaining the mission of the leaders.
