47th Graduation Day

The 47th Graduation Day Ceremony of our college was held to award Degrees and Diplomas to the successful students for the year 2019-20. The function was held on Sunday, 22 January 2023 at Open Air Auditorium of the college campus. Graduation day started with the academic procession.

Janab M. Nazar Mohammed Sahib, Secretary & Correspondent of the College declared the Graduation Day open.

Dr. M. Mohamed Ismail, Principal of the College presented the report of the College activities and welcomed all the Guests.

Alijanab Alhaj Padma Shri Dr. Mecca Rafeeque Ahmed Sahib, President, Ambur Muslim Educational Society, Ambur. Presided over the function and also delivered the presidential address. In his brief thought provoking speech he wished all the new graduates. He also motivated the young graduates to get success in life. The key to success is to quickly adapt to changes that are taking place globally and not become a prey to the so called systems. Systems have a way of swallowing the individuality of persons, once suck into it, you speak its language; assume its fictions to be reality. Creativity and sense of “why not” is lost but by keeping the company of growth minded people and following the footsteps of change makers and doing it even at the risk of failure will help you  realize full potential to life. He also advised the young graduates – whatever be circumstances you find yourself in always remember parents and take care of.  

Dr. R. Vijayaragavan, Registrar i/c, Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, was the chief guest and delivered the 47th Graduation Day Address. In his motivational speech, he encouraged the new graduates by asking them to follow discipline, punctuality, sincerity.  He asked the new graduates to learn more skills in life. Education offers us good leadership qualities, patience, perseverance and that we must use to serve our nation. He Stressed the importance of looking after the parents by narrated small stories.

Alijanab Alhaj Dr. P. M. Aadil Ahmed Sahib, Former Principal of our college, Alijanab Alhaj  Firdose K Ahmed, Assistant Secretary  and Alijanab Alhaj Tameem Ahmed Sahib, the College Management Committee  Member  were also present during the occasion.

Out of 475 Graduates, 404 Graduates (UG 371, PG 14, and M. Phil 19 received their degrees from the hands of the Chief Guest. 71 Graduates (UG-61, PG-7, and M.Phil-3) in various faculties received their degrees in absentia.

On completion of the Degrees Awarding Program, the Principal administrated the pledge to all Awardees and finally declared the ceremony dissolved. At the end of the program, National Anthem was played while everyone standing with due respect to the nation.
