Day 2:21.05.2021

In Day 2, Prof. S. J. Rafeeq Ahmed, Assistant Professor of Mathematics explained the concepts of Logical reasoning, Time and work.

Day 3: 22.05.2021

Mathematical reasoning is the critical skill that enables a student to make use of all other mathematical skills. With the development of mathematical reasoning, students can recognize that mathematics makes sense and easy to understand. Hence in the Day 3, Dr.R.Jothilakshmi, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics focused the Mathematical and Logical Reasoning. All the students are interacted and actively participated.

Day 4: 24.05.2021

On the 4 th day of Online Short Term course on Mathematics for Competitive Examinations, Mr. J.Premkumar, Associate Professor of Mathematics, presented the various concepts and formulas of geometric figures such as Square, Rectangle, Triangle, circle and some solid figures cube, cuboid, sphere and cylinder with necessary diagrams and also solved various competitive examinations questions with solutions to help the students grasp the concepts clearly. The students who participated in this session said that it was very useful for them. The students participated enthusiastically in this session and found it very useful.

Day 5: 25.05.2021

Mrs.M.ParveenBanu, Assistant Professor of Mathematics discussed the problems related to Permutation and combinations in Day 5. Permutations and combination is one of the most important topics for any competitive examinations like Bank PO, TNPSC, SSC, and so on. The questions from this topic are mainly checking the skill of an aspirant in logical counting. A through theoretical understanding about various counting techniques will help the participants to tackle all the aptitude question from this area in an interesting way with the help of tricks and important formulas.

Day 6: 26.05.2021

Mr. I. Syed Abuthahir Assistant Professor of Mathematics discussed the problems on Ages, Ratio and Proportion.
